The main baseball stadium, “Estadio America Latina” is located here and is where one of Havana’s two baseball teams, and the island’s most popular baseball team, “Los Industriales” play their home games. One of the main streets in Cerro runs from the south, sort of curves around and ends up just east of the Parque Central, where many people gather on the “esquina caliente”, where they discuss, very animatedly, all aspects of recent games.
