Additional Details: Havana, Cuba – I often refer to this painting as a reverse composition – the majority of artist would have painted it from the other side of the pillars. But I liked the composition, the light and the deterioration of the pillars framing a man sitting quietly in the shade reading with the blue of the car behind him….and the small touch of bright yellow which grabs the eye and holds it there.
