The posters are from the private collection of an individual who was once Halston's assistant and worked very closely with him. She was gifted a full set immediately after the campaign was released. This poster is part of an unnumbered edition featuring several collage-style images intended for in-store display for Halston's clothing and accessory fashion line in 1982. Halston, a renowned fashion designer and member of Warhol's inner circle, commissioned these posters. They were printed by Rupert Jasen Smith in New York at his own studio, separate from Warhol's 'Factory'.
